CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPNSABILITY PROGRAM 

"BRITCHAM LAZOS 2011"

The Colombian British Chamber of Commerce is honored to present our Corporate Social Responsibility Contest, named “BRITCHAM LAZOS” , which has been created in response to the growing need of promoting a responsible culture amongst the Colombian and foreign entrepreneurs and seeks to award some of the most successful policies in our country regarding this subject.

Lazos’s main goal is to create an experience-sharing space and to spread the word concerning the need for effective Corporate Social Responsibility Programmes, to help the nation in achieving its economic, environmental and social development objectives. We intend to do this by awarding both the companies and the specific communities benefited by their CSR programs.

These awards are categorized as follows:

• Best results in managing the relations with the special interests groups or communities
• Best Environmental Practices.
• Best Program in the Eradication of Hunger and Malnutrition.

In addition, there will be an Honor Mention for one company whose pioneering vision and outstanding achievements regarding Corporate Social Responsibility have had a major impact on the welfare of our Country.
